Eddie Murphy is set to become a dad yet again, announcing he’s expecting his ninth child with long-time girlfriend Paige butcher.
The couple “are pleased to announce that they are expecting a child in May,” Eddie’s rep told Page Six.
Eddie is already dad to Eric, 26, with Paulette McNeely; Christian, 25, with Tamara Hood; Bria, 25, Myles, 22, Shayne, 21, Zola, 15, and Bella, 13, with ex-wife Nicole Mitchell; and Angel, 8, with former Spice Girl Melanie “Mel B” Brown.
Just recently, daughter Bria posted the below picture of seven of Eddie’s children, taken when her dad won the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.
Eddie, 54, and Paige, 36, have kept their details of their four-year relationship largely under wraps.
Telling Vanity Fair in 2013, Paige explained her reason for staying away from social media.
“I’m in a relationship with a celebrity, so I felt like there’s already enough of me out there,” she added.
“I felt like I was giving out too much information. I was giving people too much access. I like to keep as much private as possible now.”
