Patti Newton, 71, got into the spirit of the October 31 fright fest by donning a sparkly cape alongside her grandchildren, Sam, Lola and Eva.

She captioned the fun-filled Instagram picture: โ€œHappy Halloween, lots of fun with [the] kidsโ€.

Then there was her daughter Lauren Newton, who uploaded a few more family photos to Instagram, but this time, costume-less Bert, 78, took centrestage (one user even pointed it out to Lauren, asking: โ€œWhereโ€™s Bertโ€™s costume?โ€)

Even Kerri-Anne and John Kennerley enjoyed the trick-or-treat festivities, with two young girls stopping by Johnโ€™s bedside at Prince of Wales Private Hospital last night.

โ€œThank you to these two beautiful girls who came around to deliver Halloween sweets, smiles and kindness,โ€ the ever-kind Kerri-Anne, 63, wrote.
