Ashley Olsen has been reunited with her on-screen dad Bob Saget at an event for Scleroderma Research in New York City.
The pair starred in the late 80s, early 90s classic Full House which starred Saget as a recently widowed dad Danny Tanner raising his three daughters (Ashley and her twin sister Mary-Kate shared the role of super-cute youngest daughter Michelle Tanner) with the help of his brother-in-law and cool uncle Jesse.
Rumours of a Full House re-boot starting swirling in August this year with reports that a new take is in early development. John Stamos and Bob Saget are rumoured to be signed and ready, however Saget revealed that not everybody is as keen.
“Not everybody would want to do it,” Saget told People magazine earlier this year.
“Maybe two-thirds of the cast would want to. John [Stamos] (who played Uncle Jesse) is such a good guy, and I think he would want it to happen in some way if it could. There’s some stuff going on, I don’t get involved in it, where people were trying to put some energy into it … [But] I don’t think it will happen in a way that it would be everybody.”
Don’t hold your breath for an Olsen twin appearance though. The incredibly fashionable duo who are making waves with their high-end label The Row announced their retirement from acting on two separate occasions.
To borrow from Michelle Tanner, “aw, nuts!”
