Aussie actress and Gold Logie winner, Asher Keddie, 40, has welcomed her first child with her artist husband, Vincent Fantauzzo, 38.
It has not yet been revealed whether the new arrival is a boy or a girl. It’s a safe bet though that if it’s a girl her name will not be Zoe after Asher’s on-screen daughter.
Asher and Vincent married in 2014 in Fiji after first meeting when Vincent painted his wife-to-be for the Archibald Prize. The portrait won the People’s Choice Award. Now that’s romance!
Asher is already step-mother to her five-year-old step-son, Luca from Vinvent’s previous relationship. She referred to her two main men when she made her 2013 Logies acceptance speech, “As if my life couldn’t get any sweeter, thanks to the two guys in my life. Oh, how lucky I am!” she exclaimed.
Asher shared her love for babies with TV Week at the time, “I love kids. I’ve always been clucky and I love being around babies. Who doesn’t?” she said.
Asher then revealed her pregnancy in November last year when she wore a figure-hugging black dress to the GQ Men of the Year Awards in Sydney.
The Offspring star showed her baby bump at the red carpet event and gushed that she was “thrilled and excited” to be becoming a mum.
She told news.com.au, “We’re really excited and can’t wait … I just feel good now.”
