Asher Keddie has welcomed her first child with husband Vincent Fantauzzo!
Offspring fans will no doubt be thrilled that the 40-year-old star, who played obstetrician Nina, has finally welcome a bub of her own!
The happy couple welcomed a baby boy last week and are enjoying time together at home.
Asher stayed coy about motherhood, keeping her first ever pregnancy under wraps for the early months before revealing her baby bump in a major red carpet surprise at the GQ Man of the Year Awards in November.
“We’re thrilled. We’re really excited and can’t wait … I just feel good now,” she told news.com.au at the time.
“We’re just so focused on this at the moment that I don’t know what the future holds for me other than what we’re doing at the moment and celebrating it,” a pregnant Asher said.
This is Asher and Vincent’s first child together. The couple tied the knot in April last year in a beach ceremony in Fiji after first getting together two years earlier when artist Vincent painted her for the Archibald Prize.
While Vincent’s portrait of his Logie-winning love Asher didn’t take out the top prize for the portrait, he did win the People’s Choice Award and holds the record as the most awarded artist in the 26-year history of the People’s Choice.
Vincent, 38, has one son already – Luca, five, from a previous marriage. Vincent also entered a portrait of him in the Archibald prize which also took out the top spot at the Archibald People’s choice.
