Arriving back in Australia, you could be forgiven for thinking they’d never split up as the family look as close as ever.
The pair, who separated in 2012 but have yet to divorce, presented a united front as they corralled their sons Charlie, 11, and Tennyson, 9, home after a spell in Los Angeles.
It’s clear that no matter what goes on inside their own relationship, Russell, 51, and Danielle, 46, are committed on their boys’s upbringing.
Family is so important to Russell that in April last year he admitted on The Graham Norton Show that his children were the reason that he’s not dating anyone. “I have the responsibility of my two boys and I don’t want them thinking anything other than that their mum is the most perfect woman in the world.
“I don’t want them to see me in another relationship with someone not their mother. It’s not something I need or want them to have to deal with at the moment,” he said.
