They may have called it quits last February, but it looks like time has healed all wounds for Katy Perry and John Mayer.
The former flames were recently spotted for the first time in a year! The couple joined friends for a dinner date in Beverly Hills and the night didn’t end there!
A source revealed that once the meal was over, the pair continued on to Katy’s nearby home, where John remained until 4pm the following afternoon.
It is uncertain whether the musician, who dated for two years, are back together.
One insider told US Weekly that John and Katy have indeed “reconnected”, adding, “Things just needed to cool down. They aren’t officially back on but talking again.”
While another told People that the date didn’t necessarily mean that the lovebirds where back on.
“They actually buried the hatchet a while back, and they are friends,” a source close to Katy said.
“It’s not a surprise they would see each other socially. She’s focused on her career and making herself happy.”
Soon after the pair were spotted, Katy sent this cryptic tweet out to her 62.7 million followers: ‘Current mood: Speak if it only improves upon the silence – Mahatma Gandhi’.
Looks like we’ll have to wait and see whether this relationship reconciliation develops further!
