Antonia Kidman and her daughter, Lucia joined Australia’s gliteratti at the 2015 Astra Awards to celebrate the finest in subscription television, but it also worked out to be a fabulous night out for the mother-daughter duo looked breathtaking as they hit the red carpet for the glitzy award show.
Antonia’s eldest, 16-year-old Lucia was a spitting image of her famous mum, showing off that signature Kidman nose and smile.
The teen radiated in a floor-length cream gown with a fitted lace top, while her pretty mum wowed in a purple Escada jumpsuit.
The much-needed night out for the duo comes “six months to the day” after her beloved father, Antony, passed away in Singapore.
Speaking to Sydney Confidential, Nicole’s younger sister put on brave face.
“You know we’re okay,” Antonia said.
“It’s six months to the day but yes … you get there.”
Antonia, who made her start with subscription television, is a huge supporter of the event.
“I started with Foxtel, you know, 18 years ago can you believe, when it was two-years-old, so who would have thought.” Antonia said.
“So it’s wonderful to be here back celebrating, seeing so many familiar faces too who were there at that time.”
“Well I’m still in Singapore so that’s a little bit tricky at the moment but never say never.”
