The head of Vogue magazine was close friends with Oscar, 82, and visited him a week before his death.
“The conversation became more serious and he told me he felt he had had the most amazing life and he was not afraid,” she wrote in an open letter in Vogue. “His last words to me were I love you, and I said I love you back.”
Anna also wrote about Oscar’s achievements and his world famous designs.
“His designs reflected his extraordinary personality,” she said. “Optimistic, fun, sunny, romantic.”
