Anger is ‘not godly’:Josh Duggar forgiven by wife

You are not allowed to get mad. It's not godly for a woman.

She’s heard her brother’s passionate plea for her to leave her “pig” husband, but it seems Anna Duggar is sticking to her guns – but possibly for all the wrong reasons.

Anna Duggar, nee Keller, is the silent victim behind her husband Josh Duggar’s ongoing – and seemingly unstopping – scandal.

In May, the eldest son of 19 Kids and Counting family the Duggars was embroiled in a criminal scandal, after it was found out that he molested five underage girls, four of whom were his sisters. Following that, Duggar was also involved in the Ashley Madison leak which revealed that he had been paying to have affairs over a period of 14 months. In a statement addressing his infidelity, Duggar also revealed that he hid his “pornography addiction” from his wife.

But through all of this, his wife, Anna, has remained silent.

A source has told People that this is not due to her forgiving him, but because being angry is “not godly”.

“She doesn’t get mad,” the source told People, “You are not allowed to get mad. It’s not godly for a woman.”

The source alleges that Anna is attempting to imitate her mother-in-law Michelle Duggar.

“Ever since she met [the Duggars] she has acted more like Michelle,” says the source, “She talks like her, really soft. She, like, whispers.”

“It’s scary. I don’t know who is talking to Anna or how she is dealing with this. Aside from Duggarville … no one can get to her,” said the source.

“I looked at her and said, ‘You have not absorbed everything yet. You are going to be pissed off, and you are going to be angry. You are going to want nothing to do with him. You may not be feeling these emotions yet,’” the source allegedly told Anna, “At one point you will.’ “

The source also echoed the sentiments made by Anna’s brother, Daniel, who commented that Anna’s parents were more concerned with how a divorce would make their family “look”, rather than the wellbeing of their daughter.

“They’re telling her Jesus forgives, Satan is trying to attack your marriage, that kind of stuff,” said the source of Anna’s parental support.

Anna married Josh Duggar in 2008 and has four children with him, Mackynzie, Michael, Marcus and Meredith.
