The entire Brangelina brood – including Brad Pitt, are set to film parts alongside Angelina Jolie in her upcoming blockbuster movie Cleopatra.
In spite of Angelina’s previous statements that she didn’t want her children to follow in her footsteps and take up careers in acting, it seems that they are now doing exactly that. Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox have all been signed up by their Mum for parts in her upcoming biopic Cleopatra.
Angelina recently confirmed her own participation in the lead role of Cleopatra in the big-budget biopic about the Egyptian Queen, with husband Brad also set to star alongside her. Clearly they are fans of keeping it in the family, because it was also confirmed last week that the pair will co-star in love-story By the Sea – a film Angelina wrote and will direct.
For the rest of the Brangelina brood, when your parents are pretty much the king and queen of Hollywood, it seems inevitable that movie making runs in your blood too.
Indeed, Vivienne, 6, already has some on-screen experience after make her acting debut alongside Mum Angelina in the smash-hit Disney film Maleficent. “It had to be Viv,” Ange told Entertainment Weekly. “The other 3- and 4-year-old [actors] wouldn’t come near me…It had to be a child that liked me and wasn’t afraid of my horns and my eyes and my claws.”
Vivienne’s got other creative talents too. Check out this t-shirt she illustrated that dad Brad was sported wearing this week.
On the possibility of acting careers for her kids, Ange continued: “We think it’s fun for our kids to have cameos and join us on set, but not to be actors. That’s not our goal for Brad and I at all,”
Angelina also recently described her upcoming role as the Egyptian Queen Cleoptra: “She’s complicated, it’s complicated to get this one right. I think we’re getting there. It’s getting close. I imagine the preparation for it is going to be big.”
Either way, things are set to be interesting on set with the eight member Brangelina clan all working on it together!
