Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt sell their New Orleans mansion

And the division of Brangie's assets begins…
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt

It’s been just over one month since Angelina Jolie filed from divorce from her now-ex Brad Pitt and it seems that they’re now getting down to Splitsville business.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the once-happy pair are now cashing in on their 1830s-era New Orleans mansion, with the French Quarter property selling for just under $6.5million ($USD4.9 million).

Their listing agent, Nina Killeen, confirmed the sale late last week.

“It sold for a very fair price. It’s a good deal for both parties. They’re happy with the outcome,” she said.

The former couple bought the five-bedroom, three-bathroom home together after Hurricane Katrina struck the Louisiana city back in 2007.

Their decision was based on 52-year-old Brad establishing the Make It Right Foundation in New Orleans to help redevelop the city’s Lower Ninth Ward Neighborhood [sic], which was catastrophically brought to the ground during the wrath of the hurricane.

Apparently Jonah Hill and Matthew McConaughey have stayed at the Big Easy mansion!

Once upon a time, Brad was all smiles in the New Orleans mansion he bought with Ange…

The selling of the first of their dual-owned homes (Ange and Brad also own a string of million-dollar properties, including a French Chateau where the two were married in August 2014) comes after the 41-year-old left Brad after he allegedly had an altercation with their son Maddox on a private jet – a claim the World War Z star firmly denies.

Brad now adheres to a temporary custody plan where his ex gets full physical custody of their six children: Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Shiloh, 10, Zahara, 11, Vivienne and Knox, both eight.
