It seems all the travelling and interaction with different cultures has left quite an impression on Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s children.
The actress, who recently starred in the Louis Vuitton Core Values Campaign, said her two eldest boys Maddox, 9, and Pax, 7, are addicted to eating bugs.
“My boys love to eat crickets. It’s their favourite thing,” she said in an interview with Contactmusic.
“When I first gave it to them I wanted them to not be turned-off by something that wasn’t (part of) their culture. So I bought them and they ate them like Doritos.”
Crickets are commonly served in Asian countries and Angelina says her children fell in love with them while on a trip to Cambodia, where the Louis Vuitton campaign was shot.
“They wouldn’t stop and they brought to-go boxes home,” she said.
“And then I had to actually ban the cricket-eating at a certain point because I was afraid they were going to get sick from eating too many… But they’re good.”
Brad and Angelina are known for taking their brood of six with them when they are on location for work. The whole family recently spent time in Malta where Brad is currently filming his latest movie World War Z.
