They’ve been circled by engagement rumours for months.
But it looks like comedian Andy Lee and model girlfriend Rebecca Harding are in no rush to get hitched just yet thanks to Bec’s latest confession.
On Wednesday evening, just hours after Melbourne re-opened its hospitality and retail sector following months of stage four lockdown, the Melbourne-based couple headed out to dinner to celebrate their newfound freedom.
However, it turned out to be another exciting milestone in their relationship – their six-year anniversary, which had completely slipped Bec’s mind.
“Hands up if you forgot our anniversary,” the 30-year-old influencer quipped via her Instagram Stories.

(Image: Instagram)Considering the pair have just come out the other end of a gruelling 111-day lockdown, it’s an easy mistake to make.
Despite the gaffe, the much-loved couple still enjoyed a special celebration dinner at Melbourne’s trendy Italian restaurant, Baby Pizza, in Richmond.
“We back Melbourne! Ps. It’s our 6 year anniversary but it’s not about us. It’s about Melbourne being back open ‘fo bizznezz,” Bec joked as she filmed her comedian partner tucking into his first meal “in the wild.”
“Pizza in the wild. WOW,” a delighted Andy Lee, 39, beamed.
Whoops! The date had completely slipped Bec’s mind.
(Image: Instagram)The loved-up couple met back in 2015 after Rebecca caught the eye of Andy at a Melbourne café, where she was working at the time as a waitress.
The pair split briefly in 2016, but soon rekindled their love and have been together ever since.
In May, engagement whispers reached fever pitch after Bec shared a photo from her 30th birthday celebrations with her left hand strategically hidden – perhaps concealing a ring.
The pair have been together since 2015.
(Image: Instagram)Earlier this year, Andy told Nova radio hosts Fitzy and Wippa that he’s been fully embracing the relaxed, child-free life while in lockdown.
“We have seen some advantages to not having children, not only the fact that we are still in bed but we don’t have to self-isolate is an important one,” Andy joked to the radio duo, who both have multiple children.
“I mean Wippa then added a kid, what an idiot,” Andy laughed, referring to the host’s new daughter with wife Lisa Wipfli, Francesca.
Rebecca also told WHO “a lot of people ask lately” whether Andy would be popping the question.
But she said they’re happy with their relationship as it stands.
“We are just loving how life is right now,” Bec said.
