Looks like Hugh Jackman has some serious competition.
The Aussie triple-threat was onstage for the opening night of his Broadway to Oz show in Melbourne when he suddenly spotted fellow entertainer Andy Lee in the audience.
And Jackman had heard a secret about the 2DayFM radio host.
“Hamish managed to slip that your childhood dream was perhaps to sing and dance on stage at some point in your life,” Jackman said to Andy.
“And we’ve got a stage, we’ve got a band, what do you reckon?”
Andy later joked: “It doesn’t matter what I think because if Wolverine asks you to tap, you f-cking tap!”
Luckily for Andy the routine was the culmination of three months of training, and the radio favourite totally nailed the intricate footwork, giving Jackman a run for his money.
But there was no way Andy’s co-host Hamish was missing out on any of the fun; he joined the other two on stage, introducing himself as the “internationally famous percussionist, Hamish Blake” and breaking out the novelty musical instruments to really ramp the performance up.
