Andie MacDowell tweeted a picture of herself schlepping it in cattle class on a recent American Airlines flight and her comment pleading for “HELP” over the seating arrangement has not won her any friends reports People.
The image of Andie, 57, alongside her seatmates, looked like they were sitting in any other economy cabin but the issue was Andie had actually paid for first class.
Her comment was that she “paid for first class & they put me in tourist because of my dog that I pre-booked & paid for.”
Andie just wanted to get what she paid for but sadly, the Twitter trolls just saw it as an excuse to have a go at the Four Weddings and a Funeral star.
Andie was forced to defend herself by explaining that the reason she was upset was because a “rude” airline employee refused to honour her pre-paid first class ticket.
After the Twitter tirade Andie learned a valuable social media lesson…and an American Airlines one also apparently.
