Amy Schumer’s romantic Paris holiday didn’t go quite as she planned it.
The funny woman revealed on Instagram that she’d been struck down with a nasty bout of food poisoning that required hospitalisation.
Her first picture saw Amy lying in bed, looking worse for wear, alongside boyfriend Ben Hanisch.
The caption read, “Thanks for everything Paris. Except the food poisoning. #noooooooo.”
She’s still laughing!
At least Amy still has her sense of humour.
Unfortunately for the Trainwreck star, her illness took a turn for the worse, as her next post was from a hospital bed.
Despite being confined to a hospital gurney, the 35-year-old seemed to be in good spirits, smiling from her bed through her exhaustion.
The couple that is sick together, sticks together?
She even took the time to post a funny spoof dating video.
In the clip, the blonde looks super tired, but musters up the energy to say, “My name is Amy. I’m 35. I love grabbing life by its horns and experiencing everything and I love music and food.
“I just really want someone to share all of that with. So, I’m taking a chance!”
Before the holiday took a bad turn…
Amy and her 30-year-old boyfriend Ben have been dating since the start of this year.
She confessed to Marie Claire, in their August issue, that she’s never had a relationship like her current one.
“I feel like Ben is the first guy who’s really been my boyfriend,” she said. “There are guys who, if they heard me say that, would want to punch me in the face, but yeah, it’s the truth.”
