While George Clooney may have been the one receiving an award at the 42nd César Awards on Friday evening, it was his equal parts brilliant and stunning wife who garnered all the attention.

The international human-rights attorney chose to wear a formfitting Atelier Versace gown to support her husband at the prestigious event, which is comparable to that of the Oscars. With ombréd feathering, a small train and her burgeoning baby bump in full view, Amal proved that the ‘pregnancy glow’ is no cliche.

Keeping the crisp Parisian air at bay, the 39-year-old chose to complement the look with a white fur stole.

The proud parents-to-be are positively BEAMING!

There’s no doubt about it, Amal is glowing.

Amal is due in roughly four months, leaving us just enough time to prepare ourselves for perfection.

The annual event, which is held to honor top achievements in France’s film industry, was Amal’s first red carpet appearance since news of her pregnancy – with twins!! – broke.

In case you missed it – one week after Beyoncé and Jay Z revealed that they’re expecting twins, George and Amal stepped in to prove that genetically unique children are totally on-trend… announcing that they too are expecting twins.

But unlike Queen Bey, the Hollywood couple decided to announce their joyous baby news indirectly.

Julie Chen, Amal’s close friend and host of popular US show The Talk, was the first to confirm the increasingly-loud baby whispers that surrounded the stunning couple. She said, “Beyoncé is not the only superstar expecting twins. Congratulations are in order for George and Amal Clooney!”

They only have eyes for each other!

The American TV personality added that 39-year-old human rights lawyer is due in June, which leaves us with only four months to prepare ourselves for genetic perfection.

In a recent interview with the French program Rencontres de Cinema George finally broke his silence about becoming a dad while speaking with film journalist Laurent Weil.

“We are really happy and really excited. It’s going to be an adventure,” he said smiling broadly.

“We’ve sort of embraced it all…with arms wide open.”

We can’t wait to hear (and see) more from this sweet couple!
