She said: “Mike and I are feeling overwhelmed with love for our little man. He had a traumatic entrance into this world but he’s a fighter and is now going strong.”

In 2014, Allison admitted to Sunday Life that she and her husband’s busy work schedules meant starting a family wasn’t achievable just yet.

“We’ve been married long enough that people have stopped asking about when we’re having babies. You have to see each other to make babies,” she revealed at the time.

We wish the new parents all the very best!
