It’s been three months since Bachelor Richie found love with single mum Alex Nation on season four of The Bachelor Australia.
Since the handsome rope technician handed out his final rose in a dramatic season finale in Bali, the couple have enjoyed spending some well-earned, quality one-on-one time with each other.
But Alex has another, very important man in her life, her five-year-old son Elijah.
And after being plagued with the question of when her two boys will finally meet, the blonde beauty has finally set a date!

In an Instagram comment so subtle that it could easily have been missed, Alex revealed that the highly-anticipated meeting will occur sooner rather than later.
“In the next month. It’s something we don’t want to rush and we want to really enjoy that special moment together,” she wrote after a fan asked when Richie would meet her son.
Elaborating, she continued: “I’ll be heading home to him soon. He is such a gorgeous little man. Yes it is a very exciting time and I’ll certainly cherish that moment.”

The adorable Elijah and the strawberry blonde beau are yet to meet, even though filming for the popular dating show wrapped back in June.
Speaking to Woman’s Day Online, Alex admitted she cant’ wait to see how her boys will interext.
“I think they will get on like a house on fire. I think they’ll gang up on me! I’m very excited at the idea of them meeting each other. It will warm my heart to see the two of them together,” she told us.
Since proclaiming his love for the aspiring model, Richie and Alex have attended a slew of high-profile events and interviews.
The pair also jetted back to Richie’s hometown in Perth, where Alex could get to know his family further without the pressures of a decision.
Richie and his leading ladies have enjoyed some bonding time without the cameras.
After the initial shock of Richie’s final decision wore off, fans quickly began to take aim at the venue manager for apparently “neglecting” her son.
While Elijah spends time with his dad Joel Porter through the school break, Alex has hit back at the accusations that have questioned her parenting skills.
“My little boy is everything to me,” she told The Daily Mail while leaving a Melbourne restaurant with Richie.
Adding: “I know who I am and I know what kind of mother I am so they don’t bother me.”

Speaking recently to news.com.au, the real estate agent revealed that she is still coming to terms with what happened.
“Now that it’s all out, I can start the healing process. Now I can go home and my friends and family can put the pieces back together — I’m lucky with the people I have surrounding me,” she revealed.
She’s now the most eligible lady in the country, but Nikki admits that it might take some time before she’s ready to get back in the dating game. “I’m nowhere near that yet,” she said.
“I’m going to let everything settle down and heal first… I’m going to be fine.”
