Richie Strahan may be living the high life as he casually swoons for model Chiara Bransi, but his Bachelor-winning ex-girlfriend Alex Nation has faced her first big break-up of the year.

Don’t worry, the single mum is still very much dating her rumoured fiance Maegan Luxa, but she has mysteriously parted ways with her community job.

The 26-year-old announced on Instagram that she’s no longer working at 88.3 Southern FM radio, on her drive show with her co-hosts Jay Bruno and Luke Forrest.

She may have infamously stayed rather quiet about her split with Richie, but Alex has a lot to say about the surprise decision.

“Where do I even begin,” Elijah’s mum began her message alongside a black and white promo shot from their radio show.

“2018 has already brought exciting new opportunities and some epic challenges.”

“This one is bittersweet. Last year I joined two amazing humans on an incredible Journey. Together we became Jay, Foz and Alex. We also became a little family. We learnt and grew so much together in that year, in ourselves and within our career.”

She went on, “I honestly can’t thank you both enough. You loved and supported me through some of my darkest times and put up with my amazing ability to never be on time.. ‘Guys I’m literally 5 minutes away…'”

Alex then shared, “But sadly, the trio ends with this gal and these guys going on to work on separate, exciting ventures.”

“I can’t wait to see what the two of you get up to. I f—ing love you to bits ❤.”

Her colleague, Luke, commented on the post, writing, “Love ya Naysh xoxo”

Jay echoed that sentiment, saying, “Love you.”

Interestingly, the reality star didn’t provide a reason for the show’s axing.

The radio show has now deleted their official Instagram page.

The trio began their journey together last year in April and together, they took on the airwaves every Friday evenings between 6-8pm on Southern FM.

Speaking about landing the gig, The Drive Out with Jay, Foz and Alex, the mother-of-one shared, “I am so thankful for this opportunity and to work alongside @luke_forrest & @bayjruno producing some serious banter and 10/10 laughs from Foz and I because well Jay is only there for his good looks!”
