Superstar Adele celebrated her 26th birthday by treating her 20 million twitter fans to a bare faced selfie and hinted at the title for her new album.
The mother-of-one snapped a shot of herself without makeup with a caption that read: “Bye bye 25… See you again later in the year x”.
Adele won an Oscar for her song “Skyfall” for the most recent James Bond instalment.
The 10-time Grammy winner has already released two albums, titled 19 and 21, which delve into her life at those respective ages. The public post has led many to believe her upcoming studio release will be aptly titled 25.
Known for her emotionally fuelled ballads, the songstress has not released any albums since giving birth to son Angelo 18 months ago and her journey into motherhood would have certainly played a big role in her next instalment.
Apart from her Oscar winning theme song “Skyfall” for 2012’s James Bond film of the same name, it’s been three years since Adele released her last album, which sold over 26 million copies worldwide.
