Adele teases the world with a clip of her new song on British TV

We’re in a complete tizzy! British songstress, Adele has whipped her fans into a frenzy after releasing a snippet of her new song during The X Factor UK.

The owner of a billion Grammy Awards (10 to be exact) casually dropped the mysterious 30-second clip. The video was a black screen as Adele’s iconic voice could be heard singing out the white lyrics as they appeared on the screen.

The teaser came unannounced during a commercial break on The X Factor UK and it almost broke the internet.

“Hello/ It’s me/ I was wondering if after all these years you’d like to meet/ To go over/ Everything,” the voice sang. “They say that time’s supposed to heal ya/ but I ain’t done much healing,” she belted as the screen faded to black ending with an ellipses.

While the mum-of-one has not confirmed (or denied) a release date, many believe her next album, reportedly to be tilted 25 is set to come out in November.

Collaborators on the new album are speculated to include Pharrell Williams, Gnarls Barkley’s Brian Burton, Max Martin and One Republic’s Ryan Tedder.

The last time we heard new material from Adele was for the James Bond theme song in 2012.

Setting fire to our rain was the One Republic frontman, who tweeted “Adele : )” shortly after the clip aired.

We haven’t heard new material from 27-year-old since her 2012 Bond theme, Skyfall, but after hearing the preview, somebody needs to give Adele another Grammy!

Adele has been keeping a low profile for the past few years, but the mum-of-one has slowly crept back into the public eye on her own accord as she stunned in a Glastonbury inspired outfit at the music festival.
