Home and Away actress Tessa James made her red carpet return last night at the Myer Spring 2015 launch and she took our breath away!
The former Home and Away star, who has spent the last year battling cancer, made an appearance at last night’s Myer’s Spring 2015 collection launch at Sydney’s Carriageworks.
The 24-year-old actress stunned in a simple black dress, black strappy heels – with her hair cropped into a stunning pixie cut.
This is Tessa’s first major appearance since she underwent chemotherapy after being diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma late last year, and although she just finished her treatments a few months ago, she’s already back to her best just days after jetting in from LA where she’s been working on her acting career.
The actress recently gave an emotional interview to Sunday Night, where she revealed she is now cancer free.
Chatting to the Daily Mail on the night, the 24-year-old explained, “It’s a hard thing for a woman to lose her hair, after treatment you still have the effects.”
She added: “feeling sexy doesn’t come from my hair, I have to rock what I’ve got. It makes you feel different, I like different clothes now and I feel empowered.”
The stunning actress told the website that she is embracing being able to get back out onto the social scene, “I’m excited to be out, it’s nice to have a night out. and I’m moving to Sydney which I’m super excited about.”

Wearing a ‘Third Form’ dress, Tessa accessorised with a Daniel Avakian necktie and strappy sandals.
