Abbie Chatfield has gotten candid about using Botox in the past – but says she will never get it again!
Speaking on her Hot Nights with Abbie Chatfield radio show this week, the reality star revealed she didn’t like having limited facial expressions after getting the popular cosmetic procedure.
“I’ve had Botox and I hated it!” she said.
“My [cosmetic] doctor was amazing, but I just felt like… because I’m so expressive, I just didn’t like it.”
Abbie previously told the No Filter podcast that she didn’t like how expressionless her face became while having sex.
She said the injections took away the lines in her face that would naturally show “when I laugh, when I cry, when I c–.”
The 27-year-old had her Botox injections around the same time she started hosting a Love Island Australia’s After Party show late last year.
The Botox also came around the time she started dating her now-ex and former Bachelorette star Konrad Bień-Stephen, and said she felt insecure about her face having less movement.
“I would cry in the mirror. It didn’t look bad; it just didn’t look like me,” Abbie said. “I looked like I was bored all the time. I don’t think I’ll get it again.”
Abbie has always been open with her fans about her cosmetic enhancements.
In July 2020, she underwent a non-surgical rhinoplasty, which involved injecting dermal filler to re-shape the nose.
“I cried afterwards because I was so happy,” Abbie said at the time.
“This is my nose. I feel like I’m wearing a beauty filter… I wanted to get a full rhinoplasty; I’ve hated my nose for a while now – the hook, the bump… and this is just life-changing!”
The former Bachelor star said she hated her old nose so much she would avoid getting photos from the side.
