In a new interview with The Cut, Miranda Kerr chatted about her favourite wellness rituals including her interesting crystal habit. It seem the Victoria’s Secret model keeps her crystals close to her chest, in her bra specifically.
Not just any crystal but a rose quartz crystal – a millennial pink stone that symbolises love.
“Rose quartz, […] is my all-time favorite crystal. I really notice the difference when I’m holding it. I keep one in my handbag. I have a small heart-shaped one I put in my bra. It’s known to encourage love (like self-love) in your life and open the heart chakra. It’s supposed to have healing and protecting powers,” Kerr told the publication.
If you were wondering the practicalities of how exactly you manage to stuff a crystal in your bra in a comfortable fashion, take your advice from Kerr and opt for a very small and smooth crystal.
“It’s a tiny little one in the shape of a heart. It’s been buffed a little. One day I was carrying it and then, I thought I really should just put it on my bra on my left side, near my heart. And that felt good,” Kerr explained.

Whether or not you believe in the power of crystals, you’ve got to hand it to her, she’s totally dedicated to the cause, and her rationale makes a lot of sense.
“I know it sounds crazy. But I feel as human beings, that we either come from love or fear. If we have something like that little reminder, like rose quartz, to always come from love and not from fear, it’s a much more expansive place to come from,” Kerr pointed out.
Kerr’s love of crystals dates back to her childhood when her grandfather used to buy them for her grandmother, and she not only uses them in her daily life but throughout her skincare range, Kora Organics too.
It’s not just crystals that Kerr invests in for her health, in the same interview Kerr revealed that she starts everyday with hot water and apple cider vinegar, enjoys Kundalini yoga and makes daily kale and blueberry smoothies with her Kora skinfood supplement, of course.
