Following her announcement last month that she’s expecting her first bub with husband Tim Rosenman, Whitney Port has revealed they’ve decided to wait and let their little bundle of joy be a surprise until he – or she! – arrives.
“We’re not finding out. But it’s only one of two options, so it’s not that crazy,” The Hills star, who announced her pregnancy via Instagram in February, told People.
But Whit – who tied the knot to Tim in 2015 – says there’s one downside to waiting for the big reveal.
“It’s made buying anything harder. But so many brands are gender neutral now, so I think you just buy the necessities and wait until you find out to buy the specific things.”
As for which one she’d prefer, the 32-year-old admits she keeps changing her mind.
“At first I was like I really want a boy, they seem so much easier. And then now I’m like, I think I really want a girl. So you go back and forth but obviously, at the end of the day all you want is a healthy baby, I don’t care what I get.”
Whitney isn’t the only expecting-mama-to-be among her old reality show co-stars. Lauren Conrad, 31, is in her second trimester with her first baby and although she knows the gender, she’s keeping that information to herself. However some are adamant she’s having a mini-me. Watch this space…
Meanwhile Audrina Patridge, 31, has nine-month-old Kirra with her Aussie hubby Corey Bohan, 35, and super-mum Kristen Cavallari, 30, has three children Camden, four, Jaxon, two, and Saylor, one.
As for Heidi Montag, 30, she’s got her fingers firmly crossed that she’ll be joining her former gal pals mothers’ club this year too.
“I think pregnancy and children are one of the biggest blessings that God gives us in our life,” she said after Lauren and Whitney revealed their pregnancies. “I have been planning for my own family and I am very excited for them, and it stirs up excitement with what’s going to be coming up in my life hopefully soon too.”
