That sound you can hear? Itโs the sound of hundreds of thousands FRIENDS fans hearts shattering.
Why? Well it turns out the cast of the popular 90s sitcom were not quite as close-knit off screen as they were on camera.
Despite the show being labeled for the close, evolving relationship of six friends in Manhattan as they fumbled their way through life, love and work together, once the cameras turned off it seems there was some bad blood among the stars.
That is at least according to one very outspoken cast memberโs dad.

Womanโs Day recently scored an exclusive interview with Matt LeBlancโs dad whose son of course played the ever-loveable Joey Tribbiani, famous for his catch-phrase, โhow you doin'โ.
Paul LeBlanc said that while Chandler (played by Matthew Perry) and Joey were the very best of friends on the show, his son thought Perry was actually โan as*holeโ.
โHe wanted to pound on (Matthew Perry) a couple of times.โ
Paul also said that fans should not mix up fiction with reality when it comes to their undying love of the sitcom.
โHeโs not โJoeyโ that everybody loves,โ he admitted. โOn TV heโs a loving man, but in reality heโs not.โ
The father and son have been estranged for years now, following a feud between them over Paul gifting a $15,000 bike Matt owned to a relative without his permission.
Since then, Paul has been vocal about the love lost between them. โThe more money he makes the more ruthless he gets,โ he said recently. โHeโs still my son but Iโm very hurt by what heโs done and the type of person heโs become.โ
If these claims are indeed true it will be sad news for fans who prefer to remember Mattโs relationship with his co-star looking more like this:

Your only consolation is that a representative for Matt LeBlanc has strongly denied all of the allegations that his father has made.
What do you think about these claims? Is it really possible these two could act as such tightknit housemates on camera if they hated eachother off-set?
