Victoria Beckham showed off more than just her phenomenal body at a recent charity event.
The Hebrew tattoo she and husband David had tattooed on their sixth wedding anniversary has almost completely disappeared.
The tattoo, which used to be emblazoned on her spine, read “Ani l’dodi li va’ani lo haro’eh bashoshanim”, which translates to “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine”.
Reports are saying the 43-year-old has had several laser treatments to remove it. As tattoos aren’t normally wont to magically disappear, that’s probably a fair guess.
David’s matching version is still on his forearm nestled amongst his extensive collection.
This isn’t the first tattoo to fade, with the designer gradually erasing tattoos on her wrists also dedicated to her hubby.
On her right wrist she had her husband’s initials as well as the words “together, forever, eternally” in Hebrew. Her left wrist featured the date the couple renewed their wedding vows in roman numerals and “De Integro”, which means “again from the start”.
While whisperings of divorce have been rampant since the tattoos began to disappear over two years ago, the pair still appear to be very much loved up and reports that she underwent the treatment to be taken more seriously in the fashion world seem to be more likely.
Or she just didn’t like her tattoos anymore and joined the legions of people who have them removed every day.
In any case, she looked absolutely radiant at the event – tattoo or no.
