Meeting a celebrity can be daunting for the average Joe, but you’d assume that a couple as famous as David and Victoria Beckham wouldn’t have any issues.
Well, at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards held at London’s Tate Modern on Tuesday night, the A-list couple mingled with many stars including Oscar winner Nicole Kidman.
But the former Spice Girl made a hilarious confession about meeting the Australian star that we can definitely understand.
Dressed in a bright yellow turtleneck Ralph & Russo couture gown, Nicole Kidman looked the picture of elegance as she stood with David and Victoria Beckham, both looking dapper in their respective black and white suits.
But it’s Victoria’s cheeky Instagram caption that had us giggling, when she remarked on just how tall the Big Little Lies star is.
“Note to self – Wear higher heels when with @nicolekidman,” she wrote on her Instagram stories, followed by two puzzled face emojis. “No big lie…”
“Note to self- Wear higher heels when with @nicolekidman.”

To celebrate second son Romeo’s 17th birthday, the family of six shared social media footage of themselves celebrating with a rather indulgent doughnut cake, with proud parents David and Victoria also revealing the sweet nickname they call their son.
On Victoria’s Instagram stories at the time, she captioned a photo of Harper hugging Romeo with Harper’s message: “Love you Romeo. Happy birthday Roro Love Harper x.”

Nicole wasn’t the only Aussie in attendance at GQ‘s night of nights though.
Dressed in the same designer Ralph & Russo, pop princess Kylie Minogue made a glittering appearance at the awards and even stopped to give Nicole a quick hug.
Don’t worry Victoria, the height difference between these two is a little bigger!
The 51 year-old songstress revealed it was her date night with boyfriend Paul Solomon, the creative director of GQ magazine she’s been dating since September 2018.
“I don’t talk much about that side of life,” Kylie said to The Mirror at the beginning of their relationship. “But you can see I’m happier than I’ve ever been and it’s largely down to him.”
