Marriage can be tough for any couple, but David and Victoria Beckham, who have been husband and wife for nearly 20 years have had their fair share of drama.
Last year, it was reported that former football superstar David was having an affair with his seven-year-old daughter Harper’s school teacher and had even impregnated her.
But in an interview with The Guardian, his Spice Girl wife has spoken out about all those divorce rumours.
“It can get quite frustrating. But I leave it to my PR team. I don’t get involved,” Victoria told the newspaper.
“You do have to be quite controlling because people do believe what they read, and when it’s completely fabricated, that’s really annoying,” she added.
The mum-of-four even admitted that David’s quite the family man and is the one in charge when it comes to getting dinner on the table.
“I never cook. I used to – when we lived in Spain, I used to cook a lot. But these days I don’t tend to get home till late, so dinner wouldn’t be ready till quite late. David’s a really good cook.”
In June last year, when the cheating rumours were in overdrive, the Beckhams made an out-of-character move with a public statement- they hadn’t done that since David rebutted accusations that he was having an affair with his personal assistant Rebecca Loos in 2003.
“This is all very bizarre and an embarrassing waste of time. There is no statement due, no divorce, and a lot of Chinese whispers and fake social media news,” a spokesperson for the couple said, adding that the rumours were “a crock of s*”.

Speaking to Lisa Wilkinson on the Sunday Project in October, David opened up about his famous marriage.
“To have been married for the amount of time that we have, it’s always hard work, everybody knows that, but you make it work, you make difficult situations like travelling away, being away from each other, you make it work.”
According to reports from British tabloid The Sun, Victoria was upset at his remark, with a source describing it as if a “nuclear bomb had gone off” and that she was “absolutely devastated.”
The fashion designer reportedly spent two days crying about his comments, and then checked herself into a stress-clinic while on a recent visit to Germany. But could it all be fake news?
Posh and Becks married in a glitzy and glamorous ceremony in 1999 at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland. Their special day featured golden thrones at the altar, a wedding cake topped with nude figures of the couple and matching white outfits, including one for baby Brooklyn.
As a fashion designer with clients including Duchess Meghan and mum to Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 16, Cruz, 13, and Harper, seven, Victoria doesn’t have time for rumours. When she’s not working, she’s working out with a gruelling exercise regime that makes our eyes water.
The former Spice Girl, who has just announced her new fashion collaboration with Reebok, kicks off her day between 5.30am and 6am with a 7km warm up on the treadmill of “a mix of uphill fast walking, jogging, running.”
“That’s the only time I watch TV – boxsets, documentaries – so I look forward to that. It takes 45 minutes,” she shares.
After that, she’s working out with her trainer with 30 minutes focusing on legs, 30 minutes on arms, toning and conditioning and core exercises.
“At the weekend I will do the whole thing straight through, but in the week I often jump in the car halfway through to take the kids to school, then carry on when I get home. I work out every day when I’m at home, and then when I travel I really focus on work so I can get as much done as possible in a short trip and get home.”
