There is no doubt that David Campbell loves his kids but he may have to keep an eye on them in case they are plotting to take over his role on Today Extra.
Yesterday, David took his kids on an excursion to his work place and it was soon revealed that his kids have a knack for the job, as they read the news, worked the cameras, and sat in the producer’s chair.
David posted a series of pictures of his kids Leo, Betty and Billy, working hard on set with megawatt smiles on their faces.
“Had some help on Today Extra. Was great having the kids at work today. Back to school tomorrow,” said David.
The TV host’s formerly estranged father Jimmy Barnes showed love for his grandkids by commenting on the post.
“Good news team x,” penned the rocker.
He then posted a hilarious video montage of the kids getting into the spirit of morning TV, and the laughs, dance moves and good spirits are infectious.
David’s co-host Belinda Russell’s daughter Coco was also in on the fun as she read scripts with Betty.
You can watch their shenanigans in this video below:
David included this caption with the video, “Had a great day with the kids yesterday. @belinda.russell did a montage @thetodayshow.”
Little Betty is taking after her dad in more ways than one as she has also inherited her family’s biggest talent, which is singing.
Last week, David posted a home video of him playing the guitar with his daughter Betty beside him as they sang a duet.
Watch the video of the father daughter duo’s duet here.
The dynamic duo covered the song Cover Me In Sunshine because Betty hasn’t been able to get the song out of her head.
David penned this sweet caption to accompany the video, “Betty has been singing this in the car for a while so I had to learn it for her.”
The video proved a few things, first, that the father and daughter have an incredible bond; second, that David is very supportive of his kids and lastly, Betty has pipes.
