Authorities in the US state of Utah confirmed that they found a body of a man who they believe to be Michael Cavallari on December 10, and not long after the former The Hills star released a devastating statement.
“We want to thank everyone for their love, support and prayers during this very difficult time,” the 28-year-old said in a statement to E! News.
“We have just been informed by the authorities my brother’s body has been found. This is a very painful time and we are still processing it all. We kindly ask everyone please respect our privacy during our time of grieving.” She said.
Michael’s body was found in a steep and rocky area of the state by search crews after he had been missing since November 27th when his car was found abandoned.

It’s been claimed Kristin’s brother had been caught up in trouble his whole life, but was arrested five days before he went missing.
The reality star, who became a mum for the third time last month, also took to Instagram to share a sweet picture of the brother and sister duo writing, “My heart is in a million pieces.”
Kristin posted these sweet tributes to her beloved brother.
“Mikey, I could always count on you to make me laugh. You had such a good heart and will be forever missed. I’m at a loss for words but I know u are in a better place and finally at peace. I love u so much RIP,” she added.
Micheal’s body has been taken to the coroner’s office where a cause of death will be determined in due time.
