David Beckham turned 42 on Tuesday, and his darling family were sure to celebrate him on social media.
The retired soccer star’s wife, Victoria Beckham, led the way with a snap of herself and their five-year-old daughter, Harper, blowing kisses at each other.
She captioned the shot: “Happy birthday daddy! From your two favourite girls!! We love u so, so much x 💕💕💕 X kisses from mummy and Harper x”
Giving us all a glimpse into the day’s festivities, the pop-star-turned-fashion-designer quickly followed the precious upload with another picture of the family’s patriarch as he sits smiling in front of a single serving of chocolate cake.
“Happy birthday @davidbeckham we all love u so much x #specialday! X VB 🎂,” she wrote alongside the shot.
Meanwhile Romeo, 14, shared a moving picture of himself giving his dad a hug, writing: “Happy birthday to the best and coolest dad ever I hope you have the best day possible!! Love u lots.”
We especially love that David’s tattoo, which reads ‘Romeo’, is visible through the touching embrace.
Brooklyn and Cruz, who penned similar sentiments, also joined in on the action by sharing two never-before-seen family photos to their Instagram pages.
The first, captured by Brooklyn, 18, shows a relaxed David pull a face toward the camera, while the second, shows Cruz, 12, take a selfie with his famous father.
It certainly is a busy time of year for the family-of-six!
Victoria Beckham recently received an OBE from Prince William for her services to the fashion industry.
The 43-year-old was named an Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British in an investiture ceremony at London’s Buckingham Palace.
Fittingly, Victoria chose to wear a loose-fitting black jersey dress from her eponymous fashion line for the special event.
David, and her parents, Jackie Adams and Tony Adams, were on hand to see her receive the incredible honour.
Speaking to the achievement, Victoria said: “It was an absolute pleasure to be at Buckingham Palace today. I’m proud to be British, honoured and humbled to receive my OBE from the Duke of Cambridge.”
“If you dream big and work hard you can accomplish great things.”
“I’m so happy to share this very special occasion with my parents and husband; without their love and support, none of this would be possible.”
Since leaving the Spice Girls, Victoria has built a highly-regarded fashion empire and her sought after designs have been worn by some of Hollywood’s biggest A-list stars including Gwyneth Paltrow, Rose Byrne, Blake Lively and even, Beyonce.
Happy birthday, David!
