She was left heartbroken after Richie Strahan dumped her for Alex Nation in the 2016 finale of The Bachelor but Nikki Gogan has revealed she’s officially “taken.”
On Wednesday night, the reality star confirmed her happy news via Instagram.
Alongside a black-and-white photo showing Nikki Gogan embracing a tall, dark and handsome man she penned: “Happy Birthday to meeee I’ve had the best day (following the best weekend at #crownmetropolperth).”
“Believe me when I say that I am the luckiest girl in the entire world. I am surrounded and loved by the most incredible people and I am so so grateful (I haven’t had the opportunity to respond to you all yet but I will!). This has been the best Birthday ever and this man is a major part of that #taken.”
In true Bachelor style, Nikki didn’t miss the oppurunity to throw in a few (presumably) sponsored tags for some freebies, giving shout-outs to the hotel, beautician and hairdresser who helped her with her birthday glam.
However the Perth-based real estate agent did not reveal her new boyfriend’s identity, but what we do know so far about her mystery man is that he has a great head of hair, looks fab in a robe and likes cuddles.
The post has garnered nearly 10k likes and thousands of comments from fans and friends.
Most notably Nikki’s former love rival Alex Nation left a sweet message which simply read: “Yessssss”, with two love heart emojis.
Looking back on her heartbreaking split from Richie, Nikki told us at the time that she had fallen hard for the rope technician.
“There’s no doubt I was head over heels. I felt all the feels! There was no question that I was definitely very loved up,” she confessed.
It’s been nearly three years since Richie and Nikki split and now the Perth-based beauty is officially “taken.”
After Richie dumped her on national TV, Nikki was in talks with Warner Brothers and Ten to be our 2017 Bachelorette but ultimately lost out to Sophie Monk.
“I think that with all my dealings with Warner Bros. or Channel Ten, they were always very respectful,” Nikki told news.com.au last year.
“They were always aware of my feelings and how I felt. At no point do I think anyone jumped the gun. They were always very respectful.”
Since then, she’s enjoyed a flourishing career in real estate and the occasional modelling gig or TV commercial.
Sadly her love life has been just as challenging as Richie’s with the stunning blonde confirming earlier in the year she was “catfished” by a con artist posing as a fake millionaire.
But now, Nikki has finally been given the win she deserves and this new boyfriend is one lucky guy to have her rose.
