It looks like Home and Away star Steve Peacocke is officially off the market as he ties the knot with his co-star and Bridgette Sneddon.
Channel Seven have confirmed that the pair are officially married.
Steve and Bridgette reportedly got hitched on Christmas Eve, sealing the deal on a romance that has endured for almost a decade, after they first started dating in 2005.
The lovebirds met while at uni together before eventually both landing roles on Home and Away, making them one of Summer Bay’s cutest real-life couples.
Steve, 33 and Bridgette, 28, then eventually got engaged on the down-low in March last year.
Opening up about the engagement last year, Steve told The Daily Telegraph: “I just always thought it’s better to keep all that kind of stuff private for us. It happened (the engagement) last year so yeah we are engaged.”
Steve continued: “She’s been with me when I had no money and looked like a loser to most people, so she’s not there because I’m on TV. She’s my best mate and the prettiest girl I’ve ever seen. I’m lucky”.
Bridgette then joined the cast alongside him as Sophie Taylor – the new principal at Summer Bay High, not long after.
Bridgette said of joining the show: “Steve always said the entire cast and crew are so amazing, but until you’re actually part of this family, and you’re going to work everyday, you don’t realise actually how amazing it is.”
