Twelve months on from his messy split from wife Rose, life is looking sunny again for Steve Jacobs in the romance department.
The Weekend Today weatherman has been spotted out on several occasions with Melbourne-based florist and property stylist Emma Goody, fuelling speculation that love is in the air!

Playful pair
As Womanโs Dayโs exclusive photos show, the pair looked particularly loved-up as they enjoyed a coffee in Bondi on January 2, before shopping for homewares in Bellevue Hill.
โThey seemed very happy and in love,โ an onlooker tells us. โThey had a playful energy about them, and both couldnโt wipe the smiles off their faces.โ
Emma, 42, enjoyed a career in musical theatre before launching her own textiles and soft furnishings range when she was 27. She has since collaborated with renowned interior brands, and has even appeared on television giving styling advice.
While it is unclear how long the pair have officially been an item for, it appears they have known each other for quite some time, with Steve liking Emmaโs Instagram photos as far back as March 2017.
The same month, it was revealed Steve, 52, and Rose, 39, had parted ways after nearly seven years together.

Last ditch-attempt
The former couple โ who first met on the set of Today in 2007 and married in an intimate ceremony in Bali three years later โ sold their five-bedroom home in Coogee for $4.6 million in April last year, further solidifying their split.
It came after the weatherman left his full-time role on Today in 2016 for semi-retirement in Vanuatu, commuting back to Sydney for work on the weekend. Steve and Rose relocated to the island with their two daughters, Isabella, seven, and Francesca, five, in what friends reportedly said was a โlast-ditch attemptโ to save their marriage.
Now it seems Steve and Rose have both moved on. Rose is happily dating Matt Shir, while Steveโs clearly smitten with Emma.
โThey seemed like a lovely couple โ and things must be going well if theyโre buying homewares together,โ an onlooker tells Womanโs Day. โYou could tell they are really happy together.โ

Stormy weather on the job front
While Emmaโs put a smile back on Steveโs dial, sources say things arenโt as cheery for him at work.
โSteve has been offered a second chance by Nine after he walked away from his daily weather spot back in 2016,โ reveals a source. โThey know he has great audience appeal and knew he was desperate to get back to work after his marriage to Rosie broke down.โ
However, Womanโs Day has been told Nine offered Steve half of what he was previously earning โ his original contract was reportedly around $400,000 โ and heโs not too happy about it.
โHe hates the travel, so the bosses have said he can be less on the road and more localised around Sydney to make it easier for him to spend time with his two girls.โ

His blossoming romance with Emma is another reason Steve is eager to put down roots.
โHeโs in this new relationshipโฆ and itโs early days and he doesnโt want his life to spiral again like it did with Rosie,โ continues the insider. โHe used to work 14 hour days, 300 days a year.
โTheyโve offered the final deal and they expect he will be left no alternative but to accept it.โ
