Sam Frost has been hinting she’s had an exciting project in the works for almost a year now and finally, The Bachelorette alum has revealed what she’s been working on.
In between days on the Home And Away set, the 29-year-old has been developing on a ‘mental health initiative for young girls and women.’ The project is called Believe By Sam Frost and it’s a joint venture with the actresses sister, Kristine.
The initiative will focus on depression and anxiety and will provide advice on how to “navigate the sometimes toxic world of social media“, according to the Believe By Sam Frost website.
“Believe is a safe place where everyone is invited, included and accepted. A place where imperfections are celebrated. Here you will find uplifting stories of strength and resilience, with advice from psychologists and others who have walked a similar path,” reads an explainer on the websites landing page.
Sam says Believe was inspired by her own personal struggles with “depression, anxiety and relationship breakdowns” while in the public eye.
During Sam’s dark times, she was encouraged by the many letters and stories she received via email or social media from people also suffering and reaching out to her for guidance and advice.
With the help from psychologists and professionals, Believe by Sam Frost aims to build a network of support and advice for people who need it.
“No matter how lonely it feels sometimes, always remember, you are never alone,” reads the website.
