Just days out from welcoming Oliver Curtis out of jail, the five-year-old was taken to hospital over the weekend after suddenly falling ill.

On Friday night, the 37-year-old mused she was also a part-time nurse, before telling her Instagram followers, that her “Poor little monkey [was] feeling so poorly.”

At the time, one of Roxy’s workers from her PR team told the Daily Mail, “We aren’t sure as yet what is wrong with Pixie. She has been doubled over with abdominal pain since Friday afternoon so Roxy took her to Sydney Children’s Hospital on Sunday morning with Hunter.”

On Sunday the mother-of-two told her fans, “Life certainly never runs to plan – what timing. Such a brave little Pixie.”

Before sharing a positive update, “Thanks for the lovely messages, Pix is resting at home waiting for more info on what the problem is ❤️”

“On her way to being better and with a smile,” Roxy captioned a sweet video of her two kids.

Adding, “Loves of my life. So happy to see my @pixiecurtis on her way to being better and with a smile – doing what I do for these two and their future.”

It is uncertain with Roxy will meet her partner, telling Fairfax Media, “I am not sure of any arrangements as of yet.”

In April she suggested to the Wentworth Courier that it was a priority for her kids to see their dad.

“Yes. Absolutely [we will be at the gates]. The kids are looking forward to having their father back. Remember Pixie hasn’t seen Oli for 12 months, so it’s very important we’re there.”

“[Pixie] will think she’s picking him up from work. She doesn’t know any different.”
