Following her ill-fated search for love on The Bachelor and Bachelorette Sam Frost joined beloved soap Home And Away, a role which shot her from reality fame to super stardom.

But, before she became a Summer Bay local Sam landed a different kind of role – a radio presenter.

Taking on the role of host on 2DayFM alongside TV legend Rove McManus in 2015, the duo struck up what would become a lifelong friendship.

Over the weekend the former co-hosts caught up, presumably ahead of Sam’s birthday which the star was celebrating early.

Rove gushed over his radio bestie in a cute caption, writing: “Nothing gives me all the good feels like catching up with @fro01 🥰 Can’t wait for the next one❤️.”

Talk about all the feels, we are giddy over this adorable post and evidently so was Sam.

The 31-year-old replied: “Awww love this, and love you❤️.”

Just last week Sam shared a throwback video to one of many hilarious stunts the duo pulled while on radio together, busking in a Sydney mall.

“I got tagged in a repost of this excellent busking adventure from 2016, and it really, really made me giggle 😂” Sam captioned the post.

She then went on to jokingly add: “I know there must be tons of record labels out there, desperate to sign me up • I think it’s safe to say, my transition to a successful singing career has begun • @rovemcmanus I bloody love you! X #voiceofanangel”

Rove and Sam first joined 2Day FM on breakfast in 2015, and they were absolutely thrilled by their new gig.

Rove and Sam became close on the show.

“I’m so excited to be joining Rove on 2DayFM. He already makes me laugh so much, and is probably the only man, other than Sash, that I’m willing to get out of bed at 4am for,” Sam said at the time.

Rove was just excited that Ms Frost has accepted his “radio rose.”

“The first time I met Sam, she laughed one of her trademark snorts and I knew everything was going to be ok,” the legendary comedian said.
