UK singer Robbie Williams and wife Ayda Field have welcomed their first child, a baby girl they’ve named Theodora “Teddy” Rose Williams.
The 38-year-old new dad announced the happy news via his blog, saying that “baby, mummy and daddy are all rockin”.
“Praise be, it’s Theodora Rose Williams, affectionately known as Teddy,” he wrote. “Thank you for your best wishes xxxx.”
Teddy was born at 3.33pm at London’s private Portland Hospital on Tuesday morning, eight days earlier than expected.
“Robbie was at Ayda’s side throughout — she did so well. They are spending their first night together as a happy family,” an unnamed source told UK newspaper The Sun.
Baby Teddy’s early arrival meant she was born just two days after the singer began a series of comeback gigs throughout the UK.
Robbie and TV actress Ayda, 33, married in 2010 after four years of dating.
