Prince Andrew is dating George Clooney’s on-again off-again girlfriend of seven years, Croatian model Monika Jakisic.
Jakisic, 33, known as “the Croatian Sensation” and whose Wikipedia page stipulates in capital letters that she is a “supermodel”, has progressed from the closest thing to royalty in the United States to the Duke of York.
The Duke and the model were spotted at an intimate table at Italian restaurant Cecconi’s on Mayfair in London, celebrating the Duke’s 54thbirthday.
An eye witness has said, “They sat next to each other at an intimate table by the front of the restaurant and were cuddling up to each other.
“Andrew was making Monika laugh and kissing her hand.
“Monika gave him a birthday card and the server brought out a white birthday cake for dessert.”
The couple were spotted again two days later at The Arts Club in Mayfair, where he had his arms wrapped around Monika. An onlooker has said there was no mistaking their relationship status. “It was obvious they are a couple, they looked like two lovebirds!”
