Janet Jackson has been told she needs bed rest by her doctors after she suffered pregnancy complications.
The 50-year-old singer is pregnant with her first child to 41-year-old husband Wissam Al Mana.
She’s under doctor’s orders to put her feet up until the baby arrives.
An insider told E!News: “She is doing OK and resting until she is due for her baby.”
According to the publication, the sister of the late Michael Jackson had been experiencing complications with her pregnancy.
It’s Janet and Wissim’s first child.
The singer has been ordered to take it easy until the baby comes.
The source continued: “She is aware of complications, but as of now doctors say she is OK.”
Since the singer announced her late-age pregnancy, many of the details of her journey to have a child have been kept under tight wraps.
The news that she was to expand her family broke in May, and since then Janet hasn’t been seen much. At the time, news circled that Janet and her husband had been seeing a fertility specialist for some time.
