Grab the popcorn: Piers Morgan slammed by his co-host in awkward morning show exchange

(And he actually stopped talking long enough to hear it.)
Two television hosts sitting on a sofa; one is wearing a suit and the other a pink dress with a playful expression.

Piers Morgan is never shy of courting controversy. From creepy comments about Emma Watsonโ€™s breasts, to attacking rape victims and [sparking hate-mongering](https://www.nowtolove.com.au/celebrity/celeb-news/ariana-grande-one-love-manchester-benefit-concert-38027 |=targetโ€_blankโ€), Piers definitely lets his input be known.

Nobody understands this more than his Good Morning Britain co-host Susanna Reid who is constantly interrupted by Morgan on the show and recently revealed she sometimes goes home and cries after the show.

Recently, a video circulated of Reid listening to Morgan with dead eyes, perhaps silently questioning her life decisions.

And now sheโ€™s finally snapped.

Morgan was โ€“ I kid you not โ€“ complaining about his relatives sharing political opinions on Facebook and not letting him have any โ€œrespiteโ€ from their moronic drivel.

Reid couldnโ€™t resist rinsing Morgan, considering his whole career is built on constantly talking about everything and anything.

โ€œI know what you mean. When someone keeps going on and on and on and you just need respite and a break,โ€ Reid replies.

โ€œAnd you just wish you could defriend them but youโ€™re just forced every day to listen to their views. I know exactly how you feel.โ€

Itโ€™s far from the first time Reid has had a crack at Morgan, but this may just be the first time heโ€™s stopped talking long enough to actually looked miffed by it.

Our thoughts are with you, Susanna Reid.
