Nicole Kidman has wowed fans with a series of stunning photos from her appearance at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Gala.
Stars like Lady Gaga, Laura Dern and many more put on their best to attend the gala, which celebrates the upcoming opening of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in LA.
The 54-year-old wore a striking Rodarte gown for the event, her dress featuring bright red, orange and black embroidered flowers over a sheer nude base.
Her Giuseppe Zanottti heels were winners too, the chic mocha hue totally on-trend.
But it was the Aussie star’s hair that had fans smitten as she returned to her natural curly locks for the event.
Sharing a collection of behind-the-scenes and red-carpet photos on Instagram, Nicole wrote: “It was an honor to be included last night ✨ #AcademyMuseumGala”
Fans flocked to the post to gush over Nicole’s incredible outfit and praise her for embracing her natural curls for the glitzy event.
“You looked stunning! I love when you embrace the curls! You’re looking better than ever!” one commented.
Another chimed in: “The curls are back baby!!! Yaaaaaaas!!!!!
Nicole’s hairstylist, Kylee Heath, was tagged in the 54-year-old’s pictures and also shared a number of snaps of Nicole’s hair from the night.
She captioned the up-close photos: “curls night out ✨ @nicolekidman rocking those natural curls 💋”
Nicole’s curls were something of a trademark in her early film career, and the star previously admitted that all the styling over the years took a toll on her hair.
“I wish I had my curls back,” she once told InStyle. “I tortured them to death. I always say, ‘Don’t ruin the ringlets!'”
The actress also told People that she prefers to wear her natural curls when she’s at home, but her locks are “constantly being styled” when she’s working.
One look at her Instagram profile seems to prove that, as many of Nicole’s photos show her hair looking sleek and styled.
But a few snaps do feature her natural curly locks, especially photos taken at home with husband Keith Urban and their two daughters.
As for her professional life, Nicole has chosen to wear wigs in several of her more recent roles, giving her hair a break from the constant styling.
The star is believed to have worn wigs for her roles in Nine Perfect Strangers (2021), The Undoing (2020) and Big Little Lies (2017-2019).
