After 15 years together it appears Nicole Kidman and her husband Keith Urban know how to keep their romance alive.
During the actor’s appearance on The Project to promote her new series Nine Perfect Strangers, Nicole revealed some saucy details about how her character transformed their marriage.
In conversation with host Carrie Bickmore, she discussed her character wellness guru Masha.
Masha is a Russian woman with long blonde hair who runs and owns the Tranquillum Wellness House in the show.
Watch Nicole share intimate details about Keith below.
Nicole revealed that she retained the accent throughout filming, and she would even stay in-character at home with her family – which turned out to be quite exciting for Mr Urban.
At first the actor was coy about how much influence Masha had on her family.
“My kids would hear me talking in the accent all the time to the point where they didn’t even notice it.
“Keith was really into Masha so that was good! The actors did not hear my Australian accent until the day we wrapped,” she said.
When Carrie pressed Nicole about what Keith liked so much about her character, the actress hinted that her husband was a fan of the look and accent for very personal reasons.
“You’ll have to ask him. I think he liked the vibe!” she teased.
The couple recently celebrated their 15th anniversary and to ring in their milestone they posted a very revealing picture of Keith licking Nicole’s neck to their Instagrams.
After Carrie congratulated the couple for their successful union, she couldn’t help but ask about the infamous photo.
Nicole responded with a sly but revealing comment about how they keep their love alive.
“Sugar and spice is the key to 15 years,” she admitted.
This isn’t the first overshare from Nicole this month as the actor recently spoke how Keith feels about her sex scenes.
“My husband is an artist, so he understands all of it, and he also does not get involved,” she told E! News’ Daily Pop.
“He sees the show at the very end when it’s a show, all edited together, and he’s fresh eyes.
“He doesn’t read any script, he really doesn’t know what’s going on on the set, he’s got his own career that he’s completely absorbed in.”
