Aussie actress Nicole Kidman joined her singer-songwriter husband Keith Urban onstage to provide some sweet background vocals to his live performance in Nashville on Monday.
The couple treated a small group of fans to an inmate performance at an event held by music streaming service Spotify. Watch a video of their performance above.
Poised on a chair in a pretty dotty dress and her hair whipped into a messy bun, the Big Little Lies star sang along to Keith’s single ‘Parallel Lines’, while gazing lovingly into her guitar-playing husband’s eyes.
According to one fan’s account, Keith had sung a number of tracks from his newest album Graffiti U, when from the crowd Nicole heckled her hubby to play one more song. Keith then coaxed Nicole to join him on stage to sing.
“Bringing Keith Urban’s album, ‘Graffiti U’ to life with his top streaming Spotify fans in Nashville,” the fan wrote on Instagram. “Yes, Keith coaxed Nicole to join him on stage after she heckled him from the audience to play another song!”
Although Nicole sang in the hit film Moulin Rouge and she also provided backing vocals to Keith’s single ‘Female’, the superstar actress says singing in front of people doesn’t come easily to her.
“[Keith] knows I have no confidence when it comes to singing,” she previously told ET. “So I’ll sing for him and that’s it.”
This just makes her stage cameo even more special!
