Nicole Kidman’s powerful portrayal of Celeste Wright in Big Little Lies continues to receive critical acclaim with the actress just picking up the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries at the 2018 Screen Actors Guild Awards in LA.
Taking to the stage, the mother-of-four teared up as she thanked her loved ones.
“Yikes, I’m crying! It means a lot to me. I’ve been working since I was 14 years old,” the 50-year-old gushed.

“To my family, I am nothing without you,” Nicole said as her voice quivered.
“What a blessing!”
After coming under fire for not saying Bella or Connor Cruise’s names during her recent acceptance speeches, Nicole strategically didn’t mention any of her children’s names and instead thanked her family as a whole.
Nicole, who admitted she’d been working on a project until the early hours of the morning and battling the flu, also commended the entertainment industry for allowing actresses over 40 to land major roles, pointing out it wouldn’t be possible several decades ago.
“To receive this at this stage in my life is extraordinary. And at this time in the industry when things are going on and for this role.”
“20 years ago, we were pretty washed up by this stage. We are potent and powerful and viable,” the homegrown hero insisted.
Fans were also swooning over Nic’s Big Little Lies co-star Reese Witherspoon and her adorable reaction to her bestie winning yet another award.
During award season, Reese has continually been Nic’s biggest fan each time she wins and it was no different at tonight’s ceremony with Reese looking up lovingly as Nic took to the stage.
