It was the reality TV finale no one would ever forget.
Tasked with the choice between two beautiful women, Brittany Hockley and Sophie Tieman – not to mention the handful of others he had already discarded along the way – Nick “Honey Badger” Cummins infamously opted for no one in The Bachelor‘s 2017 finale.
But now, the former rugby union player has finally made his pick as he went Instagram official with new girlfriend Alexandra George on Tuesday.
Sharing a photo of himself cosying up to Alexandra on a boat, the 32-year-old brandished a wide smile as Alexandra tenderly rested her hand on his leg.
Nick didn’t tag Alexandra in the post or mention her in the caption, which simply read: “This sunset @kingfisherbayresort is a must see.”
Fans and followers were quick to flood the comments with their reactions to Honey Badger’s new love, with rugby player Drew Mitchell cheekily writing, “Good to see you finally made a choice Badge!!”
Meanwhile, others offered their congratulations about the budding relationship.
“Very happy for you both, you look very happy 💕😘,” wrote one person, while another added: “Aww looks like you found love! #happiness.”
Yet another comment read: “That smile says it all! Good to see you happy.”
Back in June last year, it was first reported the SAS Australia star was dating the Sydney socialite.
According to a Daily Telegraph report at the time, Honey Badger spent lockdown with his new flame in Seal Rocks, on the mid-north coast of New South Wales.
Friends of the couple have reportedly said Nick and his new girlfriend met during a trip to the Kimberley region in Western Australia last year. Nick is even featured in an Instagram post of Alex’s that marks one year since the group of friends went on the expedition.
Nick was previously linked to chicken heiress Lucy Steggles, whom he met shortly after hiking the Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea with a group of friends for charity following his controversial season of The Bachelor.
