It was only last month Miley Cyrus’ marriage to Liam Hemsworth collapsed.
But it seems there’s been more heartbreak for the Wrecking Ball singer, with reports emerging she and new flame Kaitlynn Carter have gone their separate ways.
US publication People revealed the couple has called it quits despite their romance only being made public a month ago.
“Miley and Kaitlyn broke up,” a source told People, adding: “They’re still friends.”
The women were spotted embroiled in a steamy kiss in Italy after their respective previous relationships broke down (Kaitlynn announced her separation from Brody Jenner one month prior).
Speaking to People, the source added: “They’ve been friends forever and were there for each other when they were both getting separated but they’re just not in a romantic relationship anymore.”
After less than a month of dating, Miley (left) and Kaitlynn (right) have gone their separate ways.

The pair had also posted loved-up couple shots on Instagram.
Miley and Liam officially broke up after less than one year of marriage in August this year.
“Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time,” Miley’ rep told US media outlet PEOPLE in a statement at the time.
“Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers,” the statement continued.
“They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
